Study the security rules as much as possible before you go. Don't want to be counting on something only to have them take it away from you at the gate. Pretty sure juice boxes are banned. Not sure about formula.

There is so much crap to carry with you when you have kids, it's really a challenge in the airport. You simply can't travel light. Shoulder straps are key.
