I've been on boards with anon for user IDs. They devlove rapidly into cesspools of invective. (they may improve after I leave them though
 )As it is, I am just beginning to think I understand "sock puppets" but don't know the etymology of the term, and have only the vaguest of ideas what barak and joscher refer to.
