I'm not sure how legitimate this is, but it's certainly interesting.

"Rainbow" is supposedly a children's show from the UK, which was aired in the late 70s and early 80s. There was one infamous episode, called the "innuendo episode" these days, which contains a suprising number of veiled sexual references.

Well, after further digging, it looks like it's semi-legitimate. The episode was created by the cast of Rainbow, but never aired for children:
