Logic dictates that by adding the intermediary electrical generator efficiency is degraded. Seeking enlightenment I stumbled upon this site: HOW DOES DIESEL-ELECTRIC SAVE FUEL? In all honesty, whilst I am better informed, I am none the wiser. __________________
