And now there is the very silly Pewdiepie vs T-Series subscriber count battle.

Pewdiepie is fun. He's a Swedish gamer, who cracks funny at memes. T-Series is an Indian music video channel... not silly at all, just mainstream Indian culture. It's an actual battle for what would be far and away the top subscribed YouTube channel. (These two channels have 85M subscribers and I believe the #3 contender has about half those numbers.)

Pewds is now making it into a huge comic battle, inside joke for the fans, as if it's critically important that we all subscribe and "smash Like" on videos so he can defeat T-Series. It is in the spirit of Boaty McBoatface and Pewds clearly understands that. He takes himself very un-seriously. Which is surely why he's popular.

Butt hurt T-Series went to court in India and forced YouTube to take down the above video in their country

They couldn't take a diss video, so they went and had it blocked! Along with "Congratulations", another diss video which Pewds made believing that T-Series had passed him (although he remains #1, probably due to bot activity).

In "Congratulations", he pointed out a bit of illegal activity that T-Series was involved with...

... and said with a wink, so sorry that the media might hold past events against them (as the media did to Pewds)

I'm not even mad at India, this is simply hilarious.
