I heard that Lucas released a press statement saying that he wasn't going to do the gigantic merchandising rape that was perpetrated on TPM and seen above.
Furthermore, he said that TPM didn't "live up to expectations". Translation: Lucas admits that Ep1 sucked. May 16 baby...here we go. ~mike
