Why? If it is clear that it irritates the majority of people, why would you continue to do it? You're not going to get banned for being serious, posting current events, your opinions, jokes, or sarcasm -- those are the basic elements of this community. Either way, I'm sorry you have yet to find another board that replicates your AG experience of four years. Still, while change is often difficult, you might get more out of it if you went a little more with the flow rather than fought it.
