It *is* messed up, and more than a little.

But I have done it and, perhaps up to today, would continue to do it, and without complaint, because all that comfort he'd give up was in service of a greater comfort, the pleasing of his woman. No more messed up than spending his very last dime, really.

I guess that's what's messed up. I guess that's how *I'm* messed up. I have a set of priorities that don't match her priorities and don't match reality, since they're not sustainable or attainable.

Yeah, I have problems.
