LJ, I've been watching this too long.
A superbowl is usually wagered evenly regardless of who's playing. They've been collecting all the money so many years in the AFC and NFC semi-finals and Finals, not the supebowl.

WOULDN'T THE PATRIOTS MAKING THE SUPER BOWL BE THE BEST WAY FOR THEM TO MAKE THERE MONEY????? ISN'T THE SUPER BOWL ITSELF THE MOST BETTED ON GAME BY AN OUTSTANDING MARGIN .... WOULDNT IT MAKE SENSE FOR THE PATRIOTS TO COVER OR NOT COVER THE SPREADS UP TO THE SUPERBOWL DEPENDING ON WHAT THE PUBLIC IS LEANING TOWARDS THEN HAVE THEM LOOSE THE SUPERBOWL BECAUSE IF THEY GO I DON'T SEE A SOUL BETTING AGAINST THEM CONSIDERING THAT THE WON'T BE FAVOURED BY DOUBLE DIGITS IN A SUPERBOWL???????
SO I DONT THINK THEY WILL GO BECAUSE I CANT STAND THEM AND I DONT WANT THEM TO GO AND I AM A STRONG BELIVER IN CONSPIRATORY BETTING, BUT LOGISTICALLY IT WOULD MAKE SENSE FOR THEM TO GO |

Nobody here said anything of the sort.
However there are pre-determined games. those predetermined games can be forseen by extreme media brain washing for the loosing side prior to the game. They are rare during the regular season as the money wagered is but a fraction of that wagered in the playoffs. Understand this: They made more profit on last years Baltimore Ravens vs Indianapolis Cots: Quote:
Indianapolis Colts 15-6 Baltimore Ravens(-3,5) ..........WIN *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Quote:
If this translates into having a minus net during most of the regular season as to benefit to the maximum when the majority of money is wagered(Playoffs), then thats the way it is. Quote:

The Cowboys? its possible despite their weaknesses as they play in the NFC. I called a long shot at the start of the season, Ok, so their superstar youngster Sean Taylor died. And their playing with a 3rd string QB. A 3rd string QB that goes up against the Vikings who you cannot run against. So yes, it looks pretty rough for the Redskins at this time, but should they make it to a playoff game against the Cowboys, I would be pretty scared if i were you.

You see?
The Steelers game last night was the perfect example of a team who does not hold have its priorities straight. If you want to compete in the playoffs, you have to have a team to do so. Pittsburgh NFL leading Running back Willie Parker broke a bone in his leg last night. Even Ben hurt his knee. The Steelers weren't much to begin with coming into the playoffs, but now? Whats the point? You have to protect your stars. The teams that rest their players, are the teams that participate in the superbowl, look at last year. Both the Colts and the Bears began resting after week 7. Portis was limited in all the Redskins games till Washington started needing wins, since then, he leads the whole NFL. Most of all though, this year? The Chargers and the Colts have been seriously taking it easy both on defence and offence. Lets see what the Cowboys do this Saturday against the Panthers. Rest or play? Should they play? It would damage the Cowboys chances for the NFC Championship. Lets see Seattle's game against Baltimore this Sunday. (Seattle winning out or loosing the season would make no difference whatsoever to Seattle's playoff road) Everyone should rest for the Seahawks, including some of the back-up players, this should be an easy Ravens win....Unless of course the Ravens wanna lose for a better draft pick. Either way, it should be close. A Ravens bet looks like free money against the -10.5 spread Bet on the Ravens!!

Champs Sports Bowl
Boston College(-6.5) - Michigan State Only one thing in this years NCAAF season made me say WTF. Seeing Boston College ranked #2. I don't believe voting has ever been so far from reality. Anybody who was watching always knew that BC had no place in the top 10. Not that Michigan State is anthing special, but this one should be up for grabs. It smells like deception here, so we must wager a bundle. Bet on Michigan State! Meineke Bowl Connecticut - Wake Forest(-3.0) Connecticut has certainly improved since last years deppressing season, but they have yet to reach the level of Wake Forest's game. I can't see this one being close. Bet on Wake Forest Alamo Bowl Penn State(-6.5) - Texas A&M Despite the defence that Penn State will be bringing, I do expect A&M to score, but I can't se how TF Penn State can be stopped here. This one looks like a blow out from where I stand. Bet on Penn State! Sugar Bowl Hawaii - Georgia(-7.5) Are you kidding me? Talk about free money. Bet on Georgia!!!
