Film faux pas
Yesterday I heard someone mention National Velvet.
I immediately had a thought: Wouldn't it be awkward if somebody went to pick up National Velvet and ended up with Blue Velvet? Post your own examples of movie title confusion. |

Nearly every porn film title I've ever heard (OK, I've not heard that many) qualifies.

That's too easy. (Not to mention intentional on the part of the artistes.) Legitimate film only (whatever that means).
P.S. Where I come from, we watch them. But whatever floats your boat. |

Wanted the HBO movie, Truman starring Gary Sinese, ended up with The Truman Show.
Does wanting the original and renting the remake count?

Go in for "Crash" with Deborah Kara Unger, but end up with "Crash" with Sandra Bullock.
