you read my mind, you gorgeous creature.
I do like Grimley though. If I ever get matching cats I have a few names picked out: Tate and Lyle (winter bee food) or Tea and Crumpet or George and Clooney... A friend of mine named his cat Catastrophe. Cute, huh?

I'm completely head over heels for DucksNuts new kitty! What a beauty.
I wouldn't be surprised if he can swim. I never knew tigers could swim, and very well, until I read The Life Of Pi. If Richard Parker can do it, that little cutie can.

My son's new dog, a cross between a chihuahua and a jack russell - he has a novel way of carrying around his toy duck - for some reason he keeps bumping into things...

Laid back Kittie
This is my Kali cat. She is a Humane Society rescue I got on my birthday 7 years ago. She was meant to be mine. She was spoken for a couple of weeks before that time, but got exposed with other kittens to distemper and had to be quarantined. The people didn't want to wait for her. I happened to check back one day and took her home with me two days later.

Kitty number 2
Tabitha was adopted last winter. She was living with her siblings on a porch in a box in 20 degree weather. They were next door to a friend and she knew I wanted a tortoiseshell kitty. I couldn't resist even though she wasn't exactly the color pattern I wanted. She proceeded to give me ringworm, which I passed to my husband and all the other pets. So our free kitty cost us over 100.00 in medical treatment including having to have liver tests because of the meds we had to take.
Oh pets bring us such joy. |

Last of the mammals
This is Darby my Papillion mix. I got him in February from an animal control near my home. He was found running loose and no one claimed him. He is quite smart. He gets along great with Dazzle my remaining Yorkie. She was a breeder rescue and was passed along to me to keep my other Yorkie Sami company. My ex has her now

Which one Cloud? We have been trying to figure out what Darby is mixed with.
I noticed when the dog picture posted that Sami is in it as well-- under the other two and on the left side of the picture. |

the Kali cat. Mine (Ivan) is a mutt siamese and looks pretty darn close to that, giant flat paws and all.

cat
Kali is the only Siamese in a litter of tabby cats. I didn't know she was a ragdoll until i mentioned to a Siamese rescue lady about the white spot on her belly. She said that was a common trait in the ragdolls. She also always sleeps on her back feet in the air. She also thinks she weighs nothing, but in actuality is over 20 lbs. Which she knows how to stragetigically place for the greatest discomfort factor when she is climbing over me.
