A couple of years ago, I had a friend at work.One of those sweet swayable teenage girl-types who was expecting, but the father of said sprog didn't want to know.
I almost succeeded in convincing her to call her child 'Asbo' (if a boy) or 'Asbette' if a girl.In the end she ran with something else, but I felt mine were both valid choices. (In the UK, ASBO='Anti Social Behaviour Order' ![]()

Aislinn - I like this, but spelled Aislyn Astrid - nope, too cartoony Canyon - hmm, no, but I guess its no worse than River? Cloud - undecided Crimson - No! It sounds evil for some reason. Darby - love it, there's a girl in T's class called Darby. Delyth - doesnt sound like a name to me Echo - what? guaranteed to butt kicking Gaia/Gaius - Battlestar Gaius? Guthrie - its OK Halcyon - sounds Treki-ish Iona - I like it Mab/Maeve - I love old fashioned names Meru - no Rhythm - no Auryn - Its nice Xanthe - I like it Thea - not my style Revel - I kinda like this Celedon - no Cerulean - no Dresdan - dresdan doll?
