We often discuss this at work.

We have noticed some things.

People with certain names tend to go crazy in particular ways. Mostly we focus on something called Borderline Personality Disorder.

We surmise that people (typically females) with certain clusters of names are more likely to carry this diagnosis.

Crystal, Heather, Brittany, and Tiffany are the leading candidates, as are any really weird spelling variations of common names, including the aforementioned Jennaphr.

Be very, very careful before giving your child a name you hope will be "distinctive." They will be marked for life.

(I worry for my friend's young daughter, Krysta. Odd name coupled with an odd spelling. (*shakes head*))
