Unexplained Mysteries - Open Forum
I know I could go to an unexplained mysteries forum, but I only post here, so I wanted to ask people's take on some unexplained mysteries; I have two to start.

For the Band of Holes...
If you use Google Earth (13 42'20.50"S - 75 52'24:73"W) to chase up hill to the end, there is a cul-de-sac that looks as though it could be an area of springs. I'll suggest the "Band of Holes" is simply a different form of ancient "pipeline" to bring water down from a source spring. If so, maybe the spring(s) were special for some reason: (sacred, magic, nitrates for fertilizer, or just a year-around water supply, ???) The holes could behave like simple pots with water moving from one to another. Maybe even with some manual help to go a short ways uphill. |

Actually, they could be rain barrels. If they're in a spot with little vegetation and high winds, that would discourage mosquitoes which would otherwise be attracted to standing water.

Here's an unexplained mystery.
Every New Year's Eve, Mrs. Z has confetti glitter poppers for the kids to pull. The glitter confetti gets everywhere. I vacuum them up the next day - and I'm very thorough. Even so, we'll be finding glitter confetti around the house for the rest of the year. So the mystery is this: Are they all hiding somewhere, or is there just a mating pair and we're finding the offspring?
