Today, I bought the much-appreciated help of a few friends (and relatives of friends) to drag away a bunch of trees and brush I've been whacking back this past week.

Twenty dollars cash to each participant - $80

Awesome homemade chili - $8

A little something to drink and smoke - $40

My enthusiastic thanks and a hearty handshake - $0

The fact that I'm not out there in the rain and the mud; they are - PRICELESS!
