Cyber Pets

No, not that kind...

I realise I haven't really a leg to stand on, given that Pilau has his own Cellar account...but this caught my attention:

Quote:
A new survey has found that an incredible one in ten pets in the UK have their own profile on Twitter, Facebook or YouTube.

The study – commissioned by insurance company PetPlan – found that 52 per cent of British pet owners have shared photos of their pets online, and a further 20 per cent share photos of their pets with their friends and family.

The study also estimates that a staggering 3 million pets have a profile on Facebook. Quite how they update their profiles is another question entirely.

I wonder how many cyber pets have more people following them than are following the owners. I also wonder who these cyber pets are following - "Mom, this cyber dog followed me home. Can we keep him as a screen saver? Can we huh, can we?"

I have a dead relative whose FB account is still up there, and all that's on his wall is people using him for games. It's page after page of game crap.

5 minutes? You're slacking. You probably need to get your Hobar* serviced

Oh my, that's kinda scary. So all those ones in your grosser freezer -you just came upon them by happenstance? Wow. That's quite a talent.

They're drawn to me. It's almost mystical. That, and the flashing neon sign that reads "FREE BEER AND PIZZA, JUST FOLLOW THIS TUNNEL."

They come to me. Gone are the days I have to go out and find my own hoboes. I'm an American success story.
