...which goes where?

does the water get to the sea, or does it dissapear into a hole in the ground?.......this is a figurative statement. and it's a quote from 10 years gone by led zeppelin.

i can't argue the stupid comment, though. i was, after all stupid enough to think that you two were smart, so anything's possible.

Not the issue here. Not every river reaches the sea. You can't refute that. Just shut the fuck up already.

no, the issue is that you're a tool.

the quote means that although the means may change, the end remains the same.

for example:
you may choose to be a dick by nitpicking my quote line, or you may choose to be a dick by insulting my proffession. the end result is that you're still a dick

Then as it was, then again it will be
An’ though the course may change sometimes
Rivers always reach the sea
Blind stars of fortune, each have several rays
On the wings of maybe, down in birds of prey
Kind of makes me feel sometimes, didn’t have to grow
But as the eagle leaves the nest, it’s got so far to go

Changes fill my time, baby, that’s alright with me
In the midst I think of you, and how it used to be

Did you ever really need somebody, and really need ’em bad
Did you ever really want somebody, the best love you ever had
Do you ever remember me, baby, did it feel so good
’cause it was just the first time, and you knew you would

Through the eyes an’ I sparkle, senses growing keen
Taste your love along the way, see your feathers preen
Kind of makes makes me feel sometimes, didn’t have to grow
We are eagles of one nest, the nest is in our soul

Vixen in my dreams, with great surprise to me
Never thought I’d see your face the way it used to be
Oh darlin’, oh darlin’

I’m never gonna leave you. I never gonna leave
Holdin’ on, ten years gone
Ten years gone, holdin’ on, ten years gone

To borrow a page from juju, while a particular, uninterrupted stretch of river may not always terminate at "the sea", the waters contained therein have, at some point, reached it by way of evaporative/precipitative cycles, transference via other methods, i.e. the stomach of a migratory bird, or a sequential flow from one body of water to the next.

ALL FUKIN RIVERS GO TO THE SEA, yo.

I made up precipitative.

Talking

Doctor Foster went to Gloucester, in a shower of rain, he stepped in the conglomerated residue of a prolonged precipitative occurrence and never went there again.
Thanks Mrnoodle. you're my muse

Depends. A river is made of two components. The terrain over which the water flows, and the water itself. If both components are present, it's a river. If one becomes separated from the other, the separated part is no longer part of the river, and can't be defined as such.

Besides, you're calling into question Robert Plant's qualifications as a hydrologist, and that's just plain wrong. He's an icon, man.

This is just silly now.

I'm going to write a manifesto on how everything you sneeze ends up in the Marianas Trench. I'm working on the model now, but I don't have enough space on my hard drive, and I don't want to erase my games.
