I'm sleepy, so I don't know where that other damn thread is. Fine, this is part pet, ok? Five minutes ago, as I'm shuffling from the bedroom to the back door to let Andy out to pee (tha's humane, right? ) I am blockaded by Cleo, the black cat, she of the razor sharp claws and preternaturally high sustained panic levels. I don't know what she was thinking, but she was clearly determined to GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE, and my poor toesies were between her and safety. Come to think of it, I have one quite similar to this one on my trunk from the other night where she alighted, threw bloody sparks and flew away. I didn't bother to photograph that one though.
Damn, this hurts.

monster indeed. I didn't bother auditing this pop quiz for my immune system by turning for the antiseptic wipes. I did wipe it, but with the bottom of my other foot while I said ow ow ow ow ooooowwwwch, hopping around looking for the camera for this shot. I'm socked and shod now. What could go wrong? Besides, having a wooden leg already appeals to TWIL, and if one's good, two's better, right?

Newcat Sassy, on a tricycle planter. The flash on Popdigr's camera is so bright it's almost useless. The thing is good for like forty feet in the pitch black dead of night. Srsly.
Still wild as hell. No touchy.

not that leg. not that one either.
re flash. it's possible there's a setting for "intensity" or perhaps for ISO / sensitivity / indoors / whoknows. I've had lots of pictures blown out by my flash. I had people comment on the smoke rising from the flash after it's been triggered. Look around, perhaps it's not available via "Auto" mode, on my camera there's only off and auto flash when in Auto mode.

I've used paper before. If ya still get too much flash, use more paper.
Or masking tape.
