Just for grins, here's the webcomics I visit each day:
http://www.nuklearpower.com/
http://www.achewood.com/
http://www.penny-arcade.com/
http://www.pvponline.com/
http://www.questionablecontent.net/
http://www.reallifecomics.com/
http://wapsisquare.com/

The best of the lot, in my mind, are Achewood and Questionable Content.
Did you notice that the December 9th "questionable content" contains the following conversation -

Quote:
"How was the show you went to last night?"
It was awesome . The lead guitarist from God Forbid bled on me! I almost fainted, it was so f***in' rad.
In the authors notes next to the comic, there was a reference to the recent shooting of a lead guitarist, but I get the impression from the comic that it was made prior to the incident and that it merely joked about the use of dangerous musical instruments.

Don't know if I've posted this quiz or not, but thought you may find it interesting. It distills down what kind of spiritual path you're on into what religion (or lack thereof) fits your replies best.

This post could end the thread (sorry)

Hello:

In the spirit of teaching my fellow cellar dwellers how to fish, I offer:

http://www.stumbleupon.com

A Firefox extension that does exactly what this thread does. From their page:

"StumbleUpon is an intelligent browsing tool for sharing and discovering great websites. As you click Stumble!, you'll get high-quality pages matched to your personal preferences. These pages have been explicitly recommended (rated I like it) by friends and other SU members with similar interests. Rating these sites shares them with your friends and peers – you will automatically 'stumble upon' each others favorites sites."

I have used it extensively and can say that in terms of variety, there is no higher quality source for internet time-sinks than StumbleUpon. I urge caution when installing it and using it. Perhaps some safety line is a good idea, like connecting the power supply of the computer to an automatic shut off switch. Set it for, say, dinnertime, to avoid going hungry.

Stumble On!
