I would like to compliment Griff on his willingness to consolidate personalities and just be happy being his Griff self.

It's the first step that's the hardest man. Be strong.

I would like to compliment everybody on being their wildly original, very witty, slightly grumpy, highly opinionated self, no matter what their persona of the moment may be.

Thanks Slangster. That sounds like something Buddha would say, my compliments.

LJ for his creativity. The new user titles are a hoot.

I know these change, and globally, so I wanted to capture this one live.

grant, thank you for the uplifting thought, thank you very much. Your words (by way of Richard Bach) are an inspiration and a comfort to me, especially today. Please accept my thanks and my compliments.

dar512 deserves my (our) compliments his reasoned well tempered posts. Ever the voice of reason, the cellar has been poorer for his absence and is richer for his recent return. It's good to see you around again, dar, really good.

I originally decided to jump in and join the cellar to give you guys thanks, but I felt it was sort of attention whorish to make a whole thread dedicated to it so this thread is perfect!

As I stated in my other post (which I am sure not all of you read) I have been lurking here for quite some time, in the past I've popped in and out of the cellar reading all of your interesting and often amusing posts usually when I was bored or upset. In November I ended a four year relationship with a very yucky person. This wouldn't have been a problem except that I was very not used to being alone and needed the comfort of people around me, discussing things that didn't have anything to do with my previous relationship or any possible future ones. I was on the cellar every day floating amongst your posts and reading the stories of your lives. Although you don't know me, I want to thank you all for really helping me through a couple of rough times by just getting my mind off of things for a bit. I have a habit of reading through forums without looking at the names of those who post but the ones that I always remember when I come back to the cellar are these:
Undertoad (obvious reasons), lumberjim, Spexxvet, Onyx, wolf, Happy Monkey, sycamore and ladysycamore, marichiko, jaguar, Briana, DucksNuts, Bruce, Sawnee123, Elpsode, and DanaC...so thanks to you guys particularly for brightening my day...and my apologies for any misspellings.

An extra special thanks to wolf for being such a strong woman, I look up to you a lot.

Man...I hope none of you guys are creeped out by this...

Can we also thank some of our recent crop of newbies? We seem to have hoovered up a few very cool people of late. I'm not gonna name names, because I'd end up forgetting someone and then feel terrible.

Now that I think about it, you're right! So I'll second that.

I'd like to thank BigV for some wonderfully interesting posts, particularly pointing out this cool, if dusty, thread. I've got some reading to do here.
