Lamp: foot got it. I thought maybe it was more obscure. I don't know if he already knew it, or if he's just that observant.

First off, I don't know what this is. I need a little help.

Made of: Iron/Steel (rusty)
Dimensions: ~3 x 5 inches on the base, tapering app. ¼ inch on all four sides at the top, weighs about ten pounds

The indentation in the top is about an inch deep, maybe 1½ inches across and 2½-3 inches in length. Bullet-shaped, flat on one end, rounded on the other.

Kinda looks like half of some kind of mold, or something.

Found on the grounds of a 100 (+/-) year old house.

That's all I got.

It's old, and it's heavy...gotta be worth something, right?

That'd be a neat find but I'm wondering if it would hold a piece for riveting?

It definitely looks like it functioned as an anvil of some sort.

I'm gonna guess it's a dolly of some sort. Prolly was shiny once.

All I could come up with was some kind of trivet/coaster for a wheeled bed frame?

Now for a new puzzle. What is this?

The long lever is about four feet long, the middle arm is about a foot long and the end has a very fine edge to it and it's slightly curved, like a spoon. Both levers move. The base looks like it was made from 5/8ths rebar.
