Monster - yes. My parents' idea of home decoration doesn't exactly match mine, but it's very comforting all the same. They have any number of random bits of tinsel to put on top of things. But then this is a generation that thought paper chains were the height of decadence, so putting tinsel on pictures is probably pretty racy. Diz has already removed the tinsel from two pictures by jumping up at them. Luckily my Mum finds this clever and endearing rather than thinking he is a monster (no offence meant). She says she's glad they decided against getting a tree this year though. Probably wise. |
