Well, seeing mine is coming up on July 1st...

I would like my whole family to sit down with me for my birthday dinner.
I expect my sis & brood will find a reason not to though.
Why do I want her there when I always complain about her? Because she's my sister and I'll never stop wanting her to love me.
Never mind - we'll have a good night anyway.

I'd like a full time paid position as a Teaching Assistant, but that's not something anyone can buy me.

Oh and a scooter (moped)!
Then I could look for positions outside Aylesbury, spreading my net wider.
A second hand one would do, but more than 50cc if I have to make a journey further than 5 miles.
Pink ideally. With a pink helmet. But I'd be happy to have a second hand one.
This one would do!

Or another trip to Amsterdam.
No gang bangs this time (!) Just a mellow wander through the streets.
£169 makes it outside any kind of realistic birthday expectations, but this is along the lines of the above - pure birthday dreaming.

I already have half my present from the 'rents - a gorgeous long pink skirt.
I couldn't be happier with it even if it was a scooter because Mum bought it without me knowing. She remembered a skirt I admired months back and found a similar one. Now that's the kind of special treatment that makes you feel loved.

The other half of the pressie is the meal out.
Nom nom nom.
We're going to the Bugle Horn. Menu here. Not too upmarket to discomfort the 'rents, but nice enough to make it feel like a treat. AND I signed up to their online newsletter and have just received a mail iffering me a bottle of champagne when four people order a main course. RESULT!

we took a picture of jinx in hers, but she didn't like it! I'll try to get her to post it, or retake it. i wanted to do a wet tshirt shot, but she thought that would be weird.

Hubby is laid off as of Sun. He goes back to work mid Sept. This was known about, however was 8 days early... causing me distress in the finace department! We have hubby's B-day July 5 and mine July 11th. I am taking holidays from the 4th-13th, so honestly that is a great pressie for both of us.

I was hoping for a loan from my father-in-law, to jump start our business..... but so far he has not said yes (has not flat out said no, either)

So I am now hoping for a few catalogue orders of stuff we have already, so we can take the kids camping for 3-4 days. Spending a few days away from home as a family would be my ultimate birthday gift.
If all else fails we will have freinds over for 2 parties in a week.

It's Lynda Carter I wanted, not a wannabe Wonder Woman.

I want a normal birthday. That's what I want. Every year the hand of the gods swoop down from the heavens, and knock me on my butt with strange, random, and odd weirdness that usually centers around grabbing fistfulls of money out of my pocketbook, and leaving me emotionally barren, tired, or anxious (all of the above mebbe).

This year I have moved suddenly, and have blown the bearings on my car. I had much better plans but this is what has occurred in the stead. The good news is, I will be working on my birthday. I think by the time my birthday comes, I will be wanting much needed rest.

Waaah/Off rant.

Mine is coming up in a few weeks. I told my wife to let me fix up the Harley with some custom pipes and an aircleaner with a fuel modulator and forgo the presents. Other than that we are going on a 10 day vacation for that period as well. What more could a man ask for.

I'm having a huge pool party this year. (some of) you are invited. I don't need presents. Just beer, friends and a pool. Which sucks because my birthday is out of pool season, so I'm partying early and calling it a "still 39' party.
