Merc, let me just say that you rock. This is the best "what is it?" yet. I'm completely stumped.
It doesn't look like it does anything to vegetables. The tolerances are too tight to adjust to the wide variety of sizes mother nature provides there. Something with eggs? Maybe it cleanly cuts the tops off of egg shells for soft boiled eggs? I'm just guessing here, but the more I think about it, the more I like it. I'm guessing an egg shell opener. |
