The cheapest thing I do is probably strangling all those hookers. Hey, it's a free fuck!

Wait, do you strangle them before or after?
I used to go across the street from my office and pick up a cup of coffee ($1.25) and, usually, a donut or two ($0.75 each) every morning. Last October, I went to a conference, and the hotel I stayed at had a "pod" coffeemaker in the room--it used a prepackaged single-serving packet of coffee to make one cup at a time. I thought it was kind of neat. Over the Christmas break I bought one of the coffeemakers, along with 72 packets of coffee, for my office (total cost, including shipping, $36). Since Mrs. Dallas had started cutting back on coffee, it seemed to make sense to get another one (with the same coffee pack) for home, rather than make a full pot every morning. I'm a couple weeks away from finishing up that coffee (I had also bought some other stuff in the mean time to try out, so those weren't my only source), and so far I haven't bought a single cup of coffee or a donut from the Wawa since New Year's. |

You're way ahead on that one! Plus, you've eliminated the donut calories.
I get my coffee free at work. And my wife makes me a breakfast and lunch every day. We're "thrifty" ...
