Then you could sell them and put a percentage of the profit in the tip mug.

Okay, then...here's how we can do it. I will offer to do a portrait or "surrealized" portrait for any cellar member with 50% of the proceeds going to the tip jar. Buyer will be responsible for shipping costs, but for small paintings that usually isn't too bad. PM me if you are interested and we can work out the details as far as size/price/ideas. If I get enough interest...even just one person (Sundae Girl, yes?) who wants to do it, I will start a thread about it in meta forum and detail my progress if you like. This sounds like a fun project!

Any other ideas?

Case, I'd be interested in buying a painting from you, but perhaps not a portrait. Let me cogitate upon that.

Awesome! PM me when you have an idea of what you would like to do. I won't be able to donate 50% on a lot of the existing paintings, because they are in exhibits right now, and will already have about the same amount subtracted if they sell (whether from the place they hang or from another place, like online.) But I could make a 50% donation on any new piece, really.

I'm serious and would love to buy an original piece of your work - especially if I was somehow incorporated! Or my boys of course, being more photogenic and having the all important big eyes.

All I will say is, don't take the bread from your own mouth.
I wholeheartedly support any Cellar fundraising as UT provides hours of pleasure for many people, but make sure the price reflects the fact that this is your livelihood.

Damn, did I just ask to pay more?

Fingers crossed other Dwellars are as vain as me.

Don't worry about my livelihood, here. Look at it this way, if I were to make a bunch of paintings for a real gallery and they displayed them, the gallery would get at least 50% of the amount of the piece, just for advertising and hanging the art in their place. Then, I may not even sell a piece that I have already created. This was a way in which I thought I could come up with some more fun projects and Tony can also benefit. Sure, I gotta cover the cost of time and materials, as well as a little bit extra, since this is my full time gig, now...but that really doesn't take a lot for me. So, I am happy to do it.
