I didn't think they ever flew without using the wings for something unless dodging obstructions. Obviously that's not true.

Almost all birds' bodies are themselves aerodynamic, saving lots of energy.
That is a great video. I am surprised at how repetitive his flight back and forth is, as well as what picky little booger he is. |

No no, LEDs are too flat, nixies have depth, they have class, they could be contenders.
They could add the day people seem to be having so much trouble with.
