Stateless. How beautiful.

I think I might've inhaled you
I could feel you behind my eyes
You've gotten into my bloodstream
I could feel you floating in me

Stateless is going into my Swap a CD wish list. Could you give me a list of bands you feel are closely related?

They are exactly halfway between Coldplay and Portishead. The new single is also out, and hopefully embedding is allowed now:

This is so completely original, yet it's borrowing from all sorts of places! Like Portishead, it takes repeated listenings even to find the "song" in it.

Any other suggestions in the "like Portishead" category?

Edit: For example, Zero 7... but something I haven't heard of yet.

I am not well-versed enough to know but allmusic knows all:

Check the "similar artists" and "influenced by" and "followed". I know Massive Attack is similar but more dancey, Morcheeba is more song-oriented.

this song popped into my head tonight straight from high school with its bittersweet and somewhat uncomfortable memories. I decided to wiki the Bee Gees out of curiosity, knowing next to nothing about them other than relentlessly hearing their music.

I was stunned by what I read. I had no idea how many artists have covered their work.
