This is to my friend from Junior High and High School, Shelly. Her real name is Dana but at the time went by Shelly.

There was an obit yesterday about someone who was a grade behind me and I couldn't remember the person so it prompted me to dig out a HS yearbook. I was showing the Homeless Guy (somehow I got my pic plastered all over that year...a far cry from how I am now) and ran across one of my favorites: me and Shelly behind the portable gates they use to block hallways, acting as if we were behind bars. It's really cute.

Then, I remembered today that July 9th is her birthday.

So, Shelly, on the one in a million chance you ever wander into the Cellar and see this, happy birthday from an old friend from MEHS.
