No happy birthdays for me.
A week ago I was called by the musical director for the 17-year old American Idol kid, asking if I could come play the next two months of dates for him, all the major TV stuff. A few days later, he called back to say that the management team bounced me for being ... ... too old. Happy middle age, me!
