No happy birthdays for me.

A week ago I was called by the musical director for the 17-year old American Idol kid, asking if I could come play the next two months of dates for him, all the major TV stuff. A few days later, he called back to say that the management team bounced me for being ...

... too old.

Happy Birthday anyways, SM. As it's also Deepavali, perhaps you could enjoy "festive fireworks, lights, flowers, and the sharing of sweets". That's always fun.
