Hanging out in the university's library. On the Cellar when I should be working on term papers (blegh). I moved my glasses because of the glare, but I can't even see the screen without 'em.

I've thought about it, but I have really sensitive eyes. I imagine I'd get used to it, but I don't like the idea of having to touch my eye twice a day.

If you get the gas-permeable kind, you don't have to touch your eye--you just pop em out. They do take some getting used to, though. You'd be very squinty for the first couple of weeks.

::shudder:: Not at all. I've known a few people who have gotten corrective eye surgery. All of them have had great results, but I'm hoping to leave that as a last resort. I just need to get a new pair of glasses with an anti-glare coating and I'll be good to go.

Interestingly, a mutual friend of ours has a thread about this very topic. One in which I have several informative posts. Bonus for me: it features my favorite model, MrsV.

She had this procedure done and is extremely happy with the results. I'm happy too. Check it out. If you have any questions, just ask, and I'll pass them on to her.

Thanks Ducks. It took me a number of haircuts and colours to get it how I wanted it. Short for summer seemed like a good idea this year. I'm glad I did it.
