(rattles the cage) let me oooout! I'm having shopping withdrawals!

seriously, I like buying from Amazon, because
--they often have the best price around
--I can get it fast, because I ponied up the annual $75 fee for Prime
--they have an ever-expanding variety, and it's easy to see what the best items are because of the reviews

If you barbecue, one of these might be fun.

I thought this would be a thread where *you* give *us* gift ideas. I was going to ask what I should get my dad and father-in-law for Fathers Day.

Umm, well tell me more and I'll see what I can do! My wife always complains that she doesn't know what to get me, and to add insult to injury, my birthday, Father's Day, and our anniversary are less than a month apart.

I'm seriously considering the Leatherman idea. I had one of the small ones with the scissors years ago, and it walked off when I left it lying on a table.

I like the Squirt E4 because it has the needle nose pliers at the tip, various gauge wire strippers in the middle, and wire cutters next to the fulcrum. Plus all the other stuff too.

Other models have the scissors, or the slightly larger pliers.

Yeah, what do I get my dad, who has everything? They say "just a card is nice" but I try to find some strange toolish implement for his shop...though he has every tool known to man.

My wife got her father a one-year subscription to Netflix. In the past she's gotten him steaks from Omaha Steak. I think she tried to get him a beer of the month club, but they couldn't deliver to Michigan.

My dad would like the beer of the month club, if the beer is bud light every month.

Omaha steaks might not be a bad idea. Or, I could make my famous chicken-kebabs and cook them on the grill that day for my family...but my mom loves to cook sunday dinner.
