Mike Post wrote some damn fine TV theme music, that's for sure. A-Team, Wiseguy, Hill Street Blues, Law and Order, Rockford Files, Quantum Leap, Magnum P.I., Baa Baa Black Sheep, and on and on and on.

a few comments:

--some very fine vehicular tv out there (Batmobile, NC-1701)
--I forgot about Jack O'Neill. And Flipper. (but not in the same show: that would be Seaquest)
--K-9 counts, but I prefer Krypto
--Most of y'alls' "best thing ever on tvs" are lame. Except Glatt, Nirvana, and anyone who said Star Trek.
--Star Trek Rules! yeah! (satisfies my nerdy little heart)

Says you. I say no one will remember Six Feet Under 40 years after its debut.

Only because they had the sense to close out the plot of Six Feet Under in a gracious, non-shark-jumping manner. It's hard to forget a show that's still beating you over the head with not-really-new content 40 years later.

I notice not one person said anything concerning the various cars on Home Improvement. Goes to show a show can have killer cars, and still suck.
