Now for something Duplicitous! Morals!

IF I had two faces, would I be wearing this one?

It's easy to get bogged down in minutiae, but in the bigger picture, the really big picture, where are our country's morals?

abortion, affairs, chromatic lives matter, etc are all tiny details that add up to form the whole.

The late Maezumi Roshi once asked a student who was working on remodeling the Zendo how the project was coming along, "It's basically finished except for a few details." The student said.

Perplexed, Maezumi looked at him and said, "But details are all there are."

Civilizations and fish rot from the head down, as the saying goes, all we have to do is look to the heads of our country to get a sense of where we are going and why we are in this handbasket.

It appears you have a chance to vote against the culture (represented by Trump) and the government (represented by Hillary) but that won't really change the myriad details of what we're getting wrong.

Hopefully we'll have better choices in the future. My optimism is pretty low right now, but still that is my hope. Gun to my head, I'd have to vote for Hillary in a two way race - shes a far more accomplished liar, thief and cheat than Trump could even hope to be. Oh, that and she has ice-water running through her veins.

LOL, that's an endorsement right there, her only problem is that she doesn't have a charming personality to cover it up, like many famous and beloved Presidents.

I hope Evan McMullin wins Utah, because the symbolism would be fantastic. And I hope the Republican Party implodes. They deserve it. Comedian Rob Delaney raised a whole bunch of money for the opponents in races where the Republican candidate denounced Trump only AFTER "grab them by the pussy." His theory was, you absolutely knew this was who Trump was, and you don't get to save yourself now. Dance with the one that brung you.

Trump shows the degree to which the republican party can deceive itself. All the complex justifications and interpretations while failing to note the huge glaring problem of his being a sociopath who has no impulse control, among other notable faults.

The import thing for any remaining Trump fans out there to remember is that I can detest Trump without it automatically meaning Hillary is the bee's knees. It's possible for him to be wrong without her being right. But black and white is how conservatives tend to see the world.

I am on a biker forum too. Yes only two. This one and that one. They too have a Trump/Clitery thread. I mostly lurk on these. Just from the language I can tell that I am dealing with upper class educated people. Here I am middle class retired. My wife and I are comfortable. Did you ever notice bald men don't run for president? Both candidates dye their hair. Why does Clitery get that goonie smile on her face when Trump speaks? Any man knows that was locker room talk on the bus. Coulda used the "c" word instead of the "p" word.
Then the poor porn star is insulted. She just got a Golden Dildo award in Las Vegas for the best getting it up the azz movie. Clitery wants to raise taxes. Thats an answer. Make pot legal and tax that.

They are both disasters, but I think the prevailing logic is go with the devil you know, I'm ready to vote for the Mormon ex-spook just because he's not either of the two of them.

My phone has been ringing off the hook, and my mailman is getting a hernia, but I'm holding out for the cash bribes.

That's been hit and miss in the past. It may be better to go with the one who would be easiest to put out of office when so desired. There'll be a VP to fall back on.

Thanks. It takes a cellar to make a post,

Partisan seems like orthodoxy (orth + correct doxa idea) Everyone is orthodox because everyone believes their ideas are right!

I love this election.

Partisan is good if it's fresh, but the dried stuff smells like vomit.
