For the last several days, Stevie Ray Vaughan "Texas Flood".

Junior Brown kicks ass.

Peter has got to look like a damn space alien in 1979 Montreux.

Right now I am on a bit of a BBC Radio sit-com kick.

Current favourite being Elvenquest. A low-grade fantasy author and his dog are abducted by an elven Lord, an armour-clad amazonian princess and a disgruntled dwarf and taken through a portal to a fantasy world (Lower Earth), because the dog is the prophesied 'chosen one' who will defeat Lord Darkness. Brilliant cast, including Stephen Mangan (from Extras).

Couldn't find much in the way of youtube clips but there's a sample on the audible.com site that gives a flavour of it.

http://www.audible.com/search/ref=sr_topbox_1

and the one Youtube clip I was able to find, which has been dubbed over a clip of Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame

Yeah but I thought it was hilarious. I took it as camp. Here's the British version of the 90s Manufactured Plastic Bimbo Duo... my worst guilty pleasure of all time.

How fun would it be to recreate that for a talent competition? Anyone in?

I love it. They had a schtick, and they went for it. I had a slightly younger friend who played L'Trimm, and I got hooked at the time. I was just thinking it would be sweet to get an album and crank it with the lid on my Beetle down.

Hey, they're talking about the space shuttle! That is entirely made of iron!

Fun fact: Abba didn't speak a lick of English, they learned the songs phonetically. That's what I heard years ago anyway.
