Just so I'm thinking right...

This means that 8,489 people right-clicked, then clicked 'Save image as...', and saved this pic to their hard drive?

No I think it's views; the system wouldn't know the difference between requests whether it was for download or for viewing.

This isn't such a good way, but you can do searches through google images of pictures in the Cellar.

That is obviously a collection assembled by some very sick minds.

You get others' pics in that sort of search as well. I noticed a few of my own in there.

That's interesting: the sig line appears on posts made after the change but not on posts made before the change

Never saw that happen before.

But: deleting the sig line obliterates it from any post.

Wacky computer world.

it is normal. I found the same behavior awhile back and I was similarly puzzled.

I suspect...

it's the difference between no sig Line and a different sig line.
When you change a sig line your previous postings (with a sig line) update to show the new version.

Not so.

Here's an old thread, with posts by me that have differing signature lines.

yes, that's my point. sigline changes are universal in their effect. some posts will contain them, some will not. the effect is not universally retroactive.

I know/realize that YouTube and many other sites use the Adobe Flash Player
to collect data about the User's activities on that website, and such data is
eventually shared among advertisers.

Personally, I've elected to not allow AFP to activate storage
... unless or until I deliberately activate it on a website I trust.

And today, I noticed wording in the Alert Message that surprised me.
“Allow www. Cellar.org to run Adobe Flash ”

Name: Flash.png
Views: 577
Size: 68.1 KB

Is this due to the particular video embedded on that specific posting,
or is such data routinely being collected/stored on The Cellar ?
