Flint, there are no time limits on replying to a thread or instant message that are set by the Cellar.

Other than that the timeliness; or, timing of one's replies in aggregate shall not be intolerably irritating.

Okay, cool, so, "gray area" on site owner singling out individual members to harangue about coming back to the Cellar to post on particular threads, including intrusively messaging them on their personal devices and refusing to accept that they are occupied with a social obligation as a valid reason for not immediately logging on to the Cellar to comply with the site owner's pushy demands..that's okay then.

Oh, then using administrator privileges to magically delete a post someone hasn't had time to reply to yet. Replacing it with a snarky, dismissive comment.

Basically singling out specific members for personal abuse is an okay thing for an impartial site owner to do. Got it.

Anyone can edit or delete a post within an hour.

There's no reason to reply to a deleted post. I reconsidered it and removed it. The post was incorrect in several ways. I'm sorry you saw it and it made you feel bad. You may be angry at me for writing it in the first place, if it makes you feel better. When I wrote it and removed it, it made me feel better to be angry and then to stop.

Are you still mad about April? That was 8 months ago, and was certainly no big deal, as is this.

It's a big deal to me.

But I apologize for overreacting.

If you care: I am facing enormous emotional pressures in my life (which are not your problem--especially since I'm not open enough to even share these things) but in that context--I'm trying to gradually re-open a social connection to the Cellar community, but every time I come back here, I feel like you are especially mean and critical towards me, as if you don't want me here and are trying to make me leave. I think you're trying to curate me out of the community because you personally don't like me.

I love you man. I super-hated what you did in April because I saw it as you don't really care about us. If you care, I am sorry. I edited that message when I realized not only was it incorrect, but it was emotionally the wrong tone, too.

When you(Flint) come back after a long absence you don't magically erase your history and start from square one. The Cellar has a long memory but most are willing to take a wait and see attitude. You want respect? You have to earn it.

I think you are imagining an entire Cellar ganged up against you.

It's not. We're not.

Most are wait and see, but once again "it's all about me".

I don't have any problem with anyone here, except specifically Undertoad, and we've sorted it out. Everybody else: it's been settled. Thank you, come again.

Footnote: apparently Bruce has a "long memory" that he never liked me in the first place. No big secret, Bruce, but it's completely shoe-horned into this conversation.

Well excuse me, I didn't realize this was a private between you and UT.
You're right I do have a long memory. I watched you develop from asshole to tolerable to gone to back to gone to back. One thing that hasn't changed despite you rocky personal life, is your rock steady faith in the importance of your opinions and distain for anyone who disagrees.

It was a personal misunderstanding between two individuals.

But, good for you, you managed to drain the goodwill out of our mutual baring of emotions by getting on a soapbox with your judgmental attitude. Great job!
