I'm a little curious as to why I'm seeing this
about half the time right after I post. Haven't seen it before, and I'm not trying to post a poll. Any ideas? Bueller?

actually UT, would it be an easy task for you to put in a new search link adjacent to the existing one on the cellar "tool bar" that performs a google search of cellar.org? Or maybe as an option in the drop down menu under "search?"
It is a little unhelpful that the vBulletin search function doesn't search common words or short words. If it's a big job, then ignore this. |

It seems that if there's a slowdown/delay in processing the post, for whatever reason, the message appears to let you that the content was received and is being processed; so, you won't resubmit it.

We seem to get recurring spam-like new user registrations for an essay writing service. The service's website URL is listed as the user's homepage in their profile. Does banning the IP address for the website stop reregistration under another user name; or, do they register here from IP addresses not affiliated with their website?

I note that the currently active users stats tend to show 275, or thereabouts, guest users.
Is there any way of determining if they are bona fide guests or automated systems with the ultimate intention of generating new spam members. There never seems to be a shortage of those, does there?

And all users that had links in their Interests/Location/etc. and 0 posts have been deleted. This is a problem, because they can't be prevented from using them before they are Confirmed as real posting users.
