Fugazi - the argument

Fugazi have made a career out of crafting excellent albums, and with The Argument, they've made one of their best. At this point, I don't see it edging out Red Medicine or 13 Songs from the top of my Fugazi album hierarchy, but it's certainly a worthy entry into their catalog, and proves that they're still one of the most important bands in the world.

you know, i've always enjoyed fugazi to an extent, but now i think they are the paris hilton of indie music. they are important because they are important. mckay was one of the first recognizeable voices promoting the straightedge, and discord has been crucial throughout the years, but Fugazi as a band is at times overhyped. IMO.

my personal favorite fugazi album is still in on the kill taker .

I think I'll go with Red Medicine.

Listened to Billy Corgan's new solo CD last night...not that impressed. I hope he puts the original Pumpkins back together...and that they rock the fuck out again.

We'll see...

what you say is absolutely true, but i believe the band's instrumental talents can't be argued. (of course, in my opinion too)

Apparently, he suffers from severe depression, but not schizophrenia.

I haven't listened to talk radio much since being on disability, though I actually listened to some of All Things Considered and Sean Hannity the other day.

When I was working, I would alternate between right-wing talk radio, NPR, CBC and BBC World Service. I'll have to see what opportunities I have at my next job, though...those days might be over.
