There's also one that says that heartburn means your baby will have lots of hair.

I had to take Aden to the doc yesterday for a tetanus booster, so while i was there i asked him to do my BP. It was 130/90. Boy was I glad it wasn't at the hospital clinic or I'd have spent another night in hospital.

Too bad I have to go to the hospital clinic today though. It'll be lower this morning. It always seems to be in the mornings.

They were going to stick me in hospital again for 'observation', but I managed to talk my way out of it. I have to go back again in a couple of days for another CTG on the baby and BP test for me.

I'm not messing around. I can tell if my BP is high. I don't need them them to blow my arm up to know.

I'll just keep my feet up and take it easy. The worst that can happen is that I'll go into labour, and from my perspective, that's the best thing.

If the baby stops moving around or I feel seriously ill, I'll get myself to the hospital. In the mean time, I'm sure there are people who need the bed more than I do.

I'm only pregnant. Not dying.

Had a visit to the hospital again on Friday and totally lost it when they made me go through the whole process of blood tests, urine tests, CTG and a list of questions a mile long. They suggested I could see a counsellor which I declined.

Now I have to go again today and probably go through the same process.

3 weeks and a couple of days to go. I hope it's not too much longer. I'm turning into a basket case.

Thanks classic. The good news is, they've decided to induce me next Tuesday which also happens to be St Patricks day, and my Dad's birthday. Sounds like a good plan to me anyway.

That'll be Monday for you lot in the US.
