Thanks . They're 7 and 17. The 7 yr old (first pic) was smirking at me because I gave her a hard time about her bangs hanging in her face, so I put a frilly "baby" bow in her bangs and took a picture.

Minifobette's hair is pulling straight again, the longer it gets. Here she is showing off her new skirt.

Heh... she's actually quite small for her age. She'll turn five in April, starts Kindergarten in less than a year.

You have to admit there are some crazy folks on this site, but they sure do produce great kids!

I see why Tiger's sister Kitty reminds you of her, I can see the resemblance in reverse. Except that Kitty is BIG for her age - she'll start Reception in September next year.

Very cute. She looks so elfin, I almost expected to see pointed ears.

My son and I went over to Arlington National Cemetery this morning to help lay wreaths at the graves. I was happy to see the thousands of volunteers who turned out to help.
You're supposed to take your time and read each stone as you are placing the wreath. Take a moment to straighten the bow and make it look nice. We only placed about ten each because there were so many people there to help, but it was a good experience. Each year they expand the program, but still haven't raised enough funds to place a wreath on each grave. I'd guess we ran out of wreaths when half the cemetery was covered. Those sections looked nice when we were done though. |
