¡El trompo más grande del mundo! says the entry on this photo in a gallery of shots of the "largest skewer of kebab meat", according to this WaPo story pointed at by Spluch. The celebration is called "tacoton", apparently for the meat in this state; not et this way, it's cut up into pieces and used for tacos.

They were sold for apx. $1 apiece, and the money went to a home for abandoned children.
