I've written the new hit song

Hey, it's a serious medical problem and if I could only get the liquid morphine I need everyday to do my activities of daily living....but, (giant sigh) they only give me vicoprophen.
I KNOW there are truly people out there who suffer....but, mostly, I"ve seen druggies with it.

Hey, while I have you musicians around...what about the song itself: the music, the arrangement...isn't the PenisColada song rather...tripe?

Well, how do you KNOW it's fibromyalgia and not something else if nothing else has been ruled out?" "Just gimme XYZ." Won't fly with most docs. Although, recommending pina coladas might ease the pain.

Yeah, that's how I see it too...from people I know who say they "suffer" (who aren't even the dreaded students I usually speak of!)

I like pina coladas.
I don't like the song. It is, as Shawnee said, formulaic. It commits the cardinal musical sin of being lame. |

I'm actually with you, Shawnee. I hate the message of the song. When I was a kid I thought it was supposed to be romantic, but now that I'm an adult, I despise the story of two cheaters. I also agree with SteveDallas that it's lame. But I always enjoy it when I hear it (not very often) because it really captures the time. Kinda like hearing the Doobies.

I like pina coladas, but I agree they generally don't have enough alcohol in them. That's why it's always beneficial to make your own.

At this very moment, I have pina colada popsicles in my freezer, as well as pina colada yogurt in the refrigerator. I am a big fan of the flavor.

Thus far, the only people I see who claim to have Fibromyalgia definitely have Borderline Personality Disorder.
