By passing on the inside, with the cop already in the fast line, he showed that he was way more than merely stupid and stoned.
What got me was that this wasn't part of a pursuit ... dumbshit just happened to pass the cop and launch himself into the bridge.

Photos after the crash. It really is hard to believe anyone could have survived that. The kid has been upgraded from critical to 'serious but stable' condition. Despite my anger at such irresponsibility towards the rest of humankind, I hope the kid gets well and lets this experience change his life for the better.
