Here she is! We nicknamed our baby Beans based on how big she was at the beginning of pregnancy. She turned up August 20th by emergency c-section (fever, failure to progress, fetal distress, wrapped cord). She was only one day short of her due date and was born healthy at 6 lbs 12 oz. I recovered quickly, and am happy to report we're both doing very well. The weeks have flown by. I'm taking a year off from work as a teacher to be home with her, and I'm loving getting to know this little firecracker, who is strong, happy, and smart as hell!
