I should be more specific when describing "idiots".
Dictionary.com defines 'idiot' as- "an utterly foolish or senseless person". Said 'owner' implies she is a witch. At any given time, has 5-10 skinny black cats roaming her corner lot. Some have been run over by passing cars, because they lay along the curb. Some neighbours have taken them in or adopt the kittens. The OSPCA has been there countless times but according to her it's a social call. They roam, pick fights with our own animals or move on to other neighborhoods. |

Feral cats are people's leading exposure to rabies.

Are dogs able to be feral? You hear about feral cats and even feral children, but i've never hears the phrase 'feral dog.' Does the word 'mongrel' cover the feral aspect?
No, really, I'm totally partially serious! |

*shakes head* 'mongrel' just means it is a mix of several breeds (as opposed to cross-breed which is usually two identifiable breeds).
There are feral dogs in most countries. Very few in the UK, though lots of strays. Google feral dogs in the USA and there seem to be a few areas with high numbers of feral dogs. It depends on the dog-owning/control cultures in a place though. In much of Britain and the US there is a sense in which dogs are either owned, or stray. In urban areas, there is usually an active response to stray dogs with dog wardens, pounds, rescue centres etc. So, can be hard for a feral population to arise and become established. I suspect there may be some fully feral, wild dogs over there though, which we don't generally have here.

Our cat Chloe, we think is a feral cat that was picked up and spayed. We think that she got a taste of the indoor life and liked it. The reason I think she was a feral is the tip of her right ear has been cut off, they do that so that they can tell if the cat has been spayed or not. She is a shelter cat.

I'm proud to admit I saw the Stray Cats in June of '83, summer before college. I remember it well...my best friend and I had so much fun.
It was at Hara Arena in Dayton. This makes me also think of Bri, because we found out so many years later that we both saw The Bay City Rollers in 6th grade, at the same Arena. ![]() |

The real star of the show was CHUCK BERRY! That guy can rock. When he came to his big closing number, Johnny B Good, naturally, it turned into a long jam session with many people coming up on stage playing pretend guitars and duck walking across the stage. Chuck just carefully backed up onto the drum riser and kept on playing; he never missed a beat. Without a doubt, one of the best concerts I've ever been to, a landmark concert for me.
