I guess it was in the cards.

On the HBO web site it says.

Don't miss Carnivale 13: Los Moscos, Saturday, September 10th at 8PM ET on HBO.
They don't even mention that it's been canceled. Cowards.

My cable was out last night due to weather, so I missed the premiere of CSI: Miami!!!

Is the season premiere of Law & Order SVU tonight? I will have to go with it if it is and save the premiere of Nip/Tuck for when it comes on again. Too many shows, so little time and no TIVO!

Yes, I'm too cheap for TiVo, but who needs it when you can catch your favorite shows later in the same night.

Tonight's agenda:

8:00 - House
9:00 - Law & Order SVU
10:32 - Nip/Tuck

All is right with the world.... except I really need to go shopping tonight for some clothes... might have to make it a super fast trip or just try everything on at home whilst enjoying my favorite TV shows.

Waiting for the premier (tonight) of my all time fav, NCIS!!!! I really dig the military aspect of the crime scene investigation, plus I love the characters over CIS: Miami. I am a little apprehensive, however, after they killed off the wonderful and snacky Sasha Alexander (Kate Todd). We'll see if this forces the show to "jump the shark" or whether they can recover with such a drastic cast change.

My second fav is CSI: Las Vegas. CSI: Miami...not so much.

Ohh, TiVo is the best invention since the LASER. You set up whats called a season pass for your favorite shows and it records whether you there or not. No tapes to worry about, no timers to set. Our TiVo cost us about $100 and the service only costs us $4 a month (vs. $12 normally). If you do you research well enough, you can get in on a deal where they will give you a machine when you sign up with DirectTV.

I can't have direct TV in my neighborhood (apt complex with a no dish rule). The DVR box for the digital cable is just too damn expensive, but if I start missing too many shows I might look into TiVo. It would stop that annoying tendency of having 8 hr video tapes piling up all around the bedroom, and never being able to find a blank when I need one ...

Is Hugh Laurie of HOUSE the sexiest man alive or WHAT? Damn, he's hot! Whoooooo! But, I've a conflict, coz I want to watch MY NAME IS EARL, too, which is on at the exact same time! Oh, and I'm TiVo-less, too.

yeah, from Blackadder! He's NOT hot? Shoot. I've probably been doing it with men who I THOUGHT were hot, but probably, upon reflection, were not hot.

Long, long time. I'm getting mee to a nunnery. Or, I'll start caning tomatoes, either one.

Caning your tomato? Is that the female version of cuffing the carrot?

He always looks so angry.

Anyway...

For your enjoyment. Hugh Laurie

that's pretty funny, BigV, but, no....I really do mean to can the tomatoes...sad, isn't it?

And yeah, Hugh Laurie IS hot as Doctor House. I love emotionally abusive men...turns me on (apparently, anyway. From past experience those are the kind I must like...) (Why doesn't therapy ever WORK??)
