Thanks guys. We've both been on the edge for a couple of weeks now, so the excitement of if all hasn't quite set in for us. More just a sense of relief that we now have an end date.

I'm sure we'll both feel differently in a few days though.

Oh and yes, it does seem to have drawn out SG. In some ways it seems to fast, but I've basically been pregnant the whole time we've been in our new house. I'll be glad to give my poor garden some attention after Max is here actually. It's looking a bit neglected.

Only 4 more sleeps and I'll get to hold our baby for the first time. I'm very excited about the prospect now and really just can't wait for Tuesday...if I make it that far. I've planned out a few things to do over the weekend to take up the time, and keeping busy will only help get my body ready for delivery anyway. We're going to give the house a good clean up so that no one has to worry too much about housework for a couple of weeks or so. We've also got to make one final visit to the hospital on the weekend for a BP check and CTG just to make sure all is well. Hopefully Dazza will get to do the races again on Sat arvo. Last weekend he pulled up with over $1k profit. So that was a bonus. He usually finishes up in the black, but normally only a few hundred. Then I'll watch funniest home videos saturday night. Maybe the laughing will help! Monday I'm going to rest as much as possible and prepare for the 5.30am start on Tuesday. Hopefully by lunchtime I'll have a baby.

Wow - I can't believe the time is upon you (us lol) To me is seems to have flown by. I know your perspective, especially now, is quite different. Still its all very exciting!

Congratulations on the miraculous achievement of creating an entire human being.
It's amazing how they come out with their full personality intact. Just much smaller.

Actually, over the last while I've probably spent more than half my time asleep.

Yep, it's exciting that's for sure. I was writing up my birth plan before and some of the things I put on it seemed weird even to me, such as, "If I happen to poo when I'm pushing and don't notice, please don't tell me about it."
