Well, you look like you might get a point on the board...if I can find another job :p

The brokerage idea will come into play at the end of the month, but I have another couple of irons in the fire at this stage. One I am following up on Monday, my mind is in overdrive expanding that idea and working out the details.

Best of luck, Ducks. You seem to be the type who lands quite nicely on her feet and I know you will this time. You and Sundae are of the good, strong mettle with loads of sense and determination. I admire you both.

What's making me happy today is that I haven't heard from the hospital since I did my second glucose tolerance test. This is a good indication that I've passed this time around and all is peachy keen.

This makes me very happy.

Great news! I had that crap twice, and it wasn't fun at all. What's the point of getting knocked up if you can't have a donut now and then?

We made it down to -25C last night (yes, school was cancelled)
I think that's the lowest this family has ever seen. Right now it's the warmest part of the day.... 2pm... (sorry about the slash, the without version was worse....)

temperature is the one part of the metric system that I have real trouble grasping on an intuitive level.

So according to the Google calculator, your picture shows an inside temperature of 65 degrees F and an outside temp of 3.74 degrees F, and you say it got down to -13 degrees F during the night.

Yup. That's cold.

We are about to have our coldest temps of the season, down to 18 tonight. Highs in the 50's in the day. I am already anticipating spring, about 6 weeks to go.

2/3 of our move is done. Now we just need to get the rest of our furniture from our Jersey place, and we'll be all done. For now.

I survived my 18th C military History exam. How I've done, I have no clue. They were great essays...but I don't think I've outright failed...
