I'm back in school, getting another master's degree. Tonight, that means slogging through a 30-page research paper on how the human brain processes consonant vs. dissonant harmony.

Oh no, I'm talking about the internal politics of Academia. I can get hired as a professor based on my professional work history, but then I'll lose my job if I don't go get the degrees to prove that I know how to do what I am already doing.
